DESCRIPTION:SBLS has EXCITING news! We will be offering a $500 scholarship to one 2024 graduating senior from Paloma Valley High School (Stacia’s alma mater). We are currently working with their senior adviser on the logistics and in the meantime\, we are kicking things off with a fundraiser at the Red Robin in Menifee on Wednesday\, November 8\, 2023 (Stacia’s birthday). \n\nStacia’s Brite Little Something will receive 20% of all dine-in or takeout orders (excluding alcohol and gift cards). All you need to do to help support our fundraiser is to show the flyer or if you are ordering a pick-up order\, please follow the instructions on the flyer (unfortunately\, the fundraiser doesn’t apply to food delivery services such as Grub Hub or Uber Eats). \nIf we have a super successful fundraiser\, we may even be able to increase the scholarship amount! We hope to continue this every year\, so please share this information and flyer with your neighbors\, friends\, and family!

Therefore\, for the next several weeks\, we will be collecting supplies to help out two organizations that are working to help the homeless.\n\nThe first program is called: Support Solutions Homeless Services (https://www.supportsolutionssgv.org) and the work they are doing with their Mobile Shower Program. As a part of this work\, we are looking to collect donations related to hygiene. Below is a list of items they have requested\, if you are able to assist.\n\nToothbrush\, Toothpaste\, Soap\, Shampoo\, Lotion\, Razors\, Shaving Cream\, Foot Powder\, Sanitizer\, Feminine Hygiene\, Deodorant\, Wet Wipes\, Men’s Underwear\, Women’s Underwear\, and Sports Bras.\n\nThe second program is called: Social Work Action Group (SWAG)  (https://www.theswag.org) and they are assisting homeless individuals and working to get them off the streets. DESCRIPTION:During Stacia’s fight\, she received world-class treatment at the City of Hope in Duarte\, CA. Their team of doctors\, nurses\, and specialists provided her with round-the-clock care and treatment. The City of Hope’s pediatric department has provided us with a list of needs that we would love to help them with; we will be collecting the items throughout the months of May and June to be delivered at the beginning of July… it will be Christmas in July!
